A sterling silver photo locket with Greek letters for Kappa Phi Sigma, makes up this vintage women’s sorority necklace, circa 1930s.
The Art Deco fraternity locket has an oblong geometric shape, engraved with flourishes and vertical lines on one side, and with letters ΚΦΣ on the other, along with a hinged bail.
It opens up to reveal two small picture frames, each stamped “Sterling” twice, and measures approximately 1&3/8 inches in length, from top of bail to base.
The locket hangs from a sterling silver chain with spring ring catch marked “Sterling”, measuring just over 19 inches around – with the necklace in its entirety weighing 10.5 grams.
