Detailed information on Necklace, “One & 1/2 Couple”, Cast in Bronze on Natural Emerald Rosary Style Chain, 20”

This bronze pendant was cast using the lost wax method from a mold of a late Victorian-Edwardian vintage hunting “picture” button. “One and 1/2 Couple” of foxhounds are depicted in raised detail in search of their quarry. This fabulous pendant is made even more glamorous by its 20” chain of raw emerald beads, made with gold-plated wire in the style of a rosary. The emerald beads are hand carved and have natural variation in color, opacity and shape, which gives this necklace its organic vibe. This necklace closes with a 1/20 14kt gold filled clasp which fastens at the back of the neck.
