Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Edwardian solid 9ct yellow gold lavaliere necklace, likely of Australian origin c-1905. The piece features a central kite-shape zoned amethyst with additional oval-cut amethyst drop, set within a whimsical seed pearl studded assembly (forty-one count). The chain is of cable design and is in good used condition with no damage to note; the clasp a later more secure addition. The clasp holds good tension, with the necklace hallmarked to the reverse of the pendant. A stunning early 20th century necklace for the collection.

The links are about 1.5mm wide with the necklace measuring 44cm (17.5\") long. Unpacked, it weighs in at 5.27gms.
