A seasonal, wild-crafted toner made from organic, hand-gathered autumn berries foraged from the hedgerows around Frome, Somerset. Early and late harvests capture the essence of the season and a full spectrum of natural compounds.

With a naturally low pH of 3.3, this toner delivers gentle astringency and leaves skin balanced, clarified, and revitalised.

We use a traditional lacto-fermentation method, in which the organic lactic acid bacteria on the fruit transform the berries into an alcohol-free toner that gently acidifies, clarifies, and restores. We then process the ferments to produce an all-natural Lactobacillus Lysate full of peptides, amino acids, saccharides, AHAs, BHAs, and lactic acid which balance the skin’s microbiome, enhancing cell turnover, resilience and healing.

Wild Berry Toner contains three native rosehip species (Rosa canina, Rosa rugosa, Rosa eglanteria) with hawthorn, blackberry, elderberry and blackthorn — all rich in antioxidants, flavonoids, and polyphenols.
