After the earthquake, we undertook this project with the intention of preserving the craft of maki-e artisans.Coincidentally, we had the opportunity to exhibit it at a trade show in the United States, where it was well received, leading to its commercialization.The glass used is a thin, high-quality glass from Kimura Glass.Nami-chidori motif—plovers flying above stylized waves—symbolizing perseverance and harmony, as small birds bravely navigate great waters.Please note that this item is not dishwasher safe, as it may cause the maki-e to peel or the glass to break.
