This particular pillow features one of my all-time favorite yarns: Noro Kureyon. Kureyon (which translates to \"crayon\" in English) is a naturally textured, 100% wool yarn sourced from certified organic farms (in Australia, the Falkland Islands, and South Africa), then dyed and spun in Japan. What I love most about Noro yarns is the \"intention\" that goes into their creation. It\'s all about a visceral connection to nature... from the sheep (that produce the fiber) to the vivid hues (which mimic the infinite and varied colors found in nature) to the handspun, loosely processed quality of the finished product. As a maker, I experience joy and a sense of wonder as I work with these yarns, which is soothing to my soul.
