Gold was the single most employed material in Renaissance jewelry. Gold chains adorned the likes of men and women across all of Europe in many varying styles. Our Catena necklace mimics the Renaissance flare for strong design, symmetry and meaning. Look closely and you’ll notice the chain design is a repeat pattern of our logo - a symbol, composed of 3 interlocking circles, that imitates a lower case “g” for our namesake and references our faith in the trinity and our Italian Renaissance influence thru the Medici family emblem. Our Catena chain can be worn on its own or adorned with our pendants for added embellishment.
