Detailed information on Ethiopian Opal Necklace
This necklace features an Ethiopian Opal cabochon, set in fine and sterling silver. It has a border that I make by melting scraps of silver, hammering them flat, and then soldering them to the backplate. The pendant measures 15/16 inch long. The sterling chain is 18 inches and finished with a handmade hook and the clasp.
It was really difficult to capture all of the colors in a photo! I think the video shows the color play well.
