Care and Maintenance

GENERAL INFORMATION: Aluminium is a lightweight, non-corrosive and recyclable metal that is both strong and flexible. Fritz Hansen uses two types of surface finish on aluminium: mirror polished and brushed. When new, mirror polished aluminium surfaces have a high gloss finish that will become matt over time. Brushed aluminium has a matte, satin finish with characteristic stripes.

CARE & MAINTENANCE: Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.

CLEANING & STAIN REMOVAL: Remove stains with a soft cloth wrung in a mild detergent solution and wipe dry. For stubborn stains, use an eraser or petroleum benzine, taking care avoid unaffected areas.

CAUTION:Do not use abrasives as these may damage the surface of the metal.
