An English country side chair dating to the late 19th century, this piece is a classic example of Victorian vernacular craftsmanship. Made of solid ash and elm, the chair features a broad curved top rail, turned back spindles, and a shaped central splat with hand-carved bullseye detailing. The well-worn seat is generously shaped from a single plank, showing a rich, time-earned patina.
