An early 19th-century-made English antique comb back Windsor armchair of generous proportions. Attributed to the West Country of England, circa 1820.
Presented in original condition.
Constructed from ash and beech with an elm seat.
With a shaped top rail over stick back. With a three-part arm over a seat supported by four turned legs united by an \"H\" stretcher.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition - Good, as per the images. There is age-related surface wear and a historic repair to the bow at the back where the two outer-left horizontal spindles (right of the image) meet the shaped back support/yolk. A detailed condition report is available upon request.
