HOT ! 22 Ft Vintage Extra Long Karastan Kerman Runner 35in Stair Runner #4211

A seriously long runner with a length that almost makes you do a double take…21 feet 5 inches. Pieces like this don’t come around often, especially in such a practical width. At 35 inches wide, this runner sits in that sweet spot for staircases…skinny enough to let the edges of the steps breathe while still giving plenty of pattern and cushion underfoot as it flows down the run.

The design follows the classic Kerman style, filled with finely drawn floral sprays and scrolling vines that dance across a warm ivory ground. Dusty rose, teal blues, inky navy, and soft earth tones mingle throughout the pattern, creating a rich field that reads beautifully from afar but reveals layers of detail when you get close.

This piece was made by Karastan, the American company that, beginning in the late 1920s, became famous for producing some of the finest machine-woven rugs ever made. Their looms were capable of achieving remarkable detail, allowing patterns like the Persian Kerman design to translate into durable rugs that could live comfortably in busy homes for decades.

The wool pile remains nicely even, giving the runner a sturdy, grounded feel while still showing the gentle character that comes with time. At 21\'5 long and 35\" wide, this is exactly the kind of runner people search high and low for when dressing a staircase or an extra-long hall.
